In 2017 COPFS commissioned MLA to prepare a design proposal for the redevelopment and refurbishment of their existing offices in Falkirk’s Camelon district to increase its capacity by approximately 40 staff and reconfigure to a modern open plan footprint for the Local Court Team serving the nearby Sheriff Court.

The design proposal developed by MLA involved partially infilling an existing double height space and removing cellular rooms. The project involved the fit out of two existing floors totalling 8,000sqft and space planning for 70 staff. The furniture and finishes were fully upgraded, and the project was officially opened by the Advocate Depute in 2018.
