Designed by Edward Pugin in 1861. The Gilles Centre is a three-storey range of school buildings with pavilion blocks, forming H-plan on Whitehouse Loan in Edinburgh.
In 2020 the Archdiocese commissioned MLA to prepare various design proposals for the redevelopment of three disused areas within the former college.

This project included alterations to accommodate postgraduate programmes within the Gillis Centre by St Marys University, the UK’s leading Catholic university.

Design proposals were also prepared to convert former bedrooms into small office units for the rental market.
