Michael Laurie Architects Ltd (MLA) as Heritage consultants are skilled in conservation planning and the protection of historic buildings across Scotland. Several of our team members at MLA have extensive experience in Conservation and Regeneration over long careers. We regularly attend Historic Environment Scotland (HES Engine Shed) Accredited training courses including CPD organised by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), Edinburgh World Heritage (EWH), Edinburgh Traditional Building Festival (ETBF), Scottish Lime Centre Trust (SLCT), National Trust for Scotland (NTS), Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and many others.
We also have an inhouse specialists, Tibor Bandula who has a Master’s Degree in Architectural Conservation from the University of Edinburgh, and Andy Caird who has a MSC in Architectural Design for the Conversation of Built Heritage (University of Strathclyde), graduating in late 2021.
